So, yes, the film is a bit over the top, a bit exaggerated, but it still works perfectly, has the perfect balance of humour and seriousness, and is one that I would see over and over again. I think it's sad that people who loved the Phantom were unwilling to accept the sequel - they missed a good show. I'll be honest: I'm your average bloke who doesn't tend to watch that genre (I haven't seen Bridget Jones's Diary) but I can say it's a very amusing film in parts and it made me feel all warm inside and put a smile on my grumpy face!

There's more--too much more--as Curtis wraps his Christmas gift with enough happy endings to sweeten a dozen other movies. The differing personalities are all beautifully depicted and there are a lot of very funny situations and conversations.
