Results 440 patients with IBS-D were randomised to the double-blind phase with 393 continuing to the open-label phase. A total of 105 adults were randomised between January 2017 and June 2018, 51 subjects were treated with Enterosgel and ORS, and 53 subjects in the control group with ORS alone (one subject was withdrawn). Most people will start to see improvements after one day of usage (3 doses per day), with a full treatment cycle lasting up to 5 days.
