This Emma Hypersoft Foam layer keeps your bed comfortable and cool so that your rest remains refreshing. The key feature of this layer is that the open-pores allow the air to flow freely in the mattress, moving through every part and crevice. Overall, it's not as quite as good as our reviewee, but if you need a solid mattress that will fit your bed frame perfectly – this one comes in 9 different sizes! Despite a few small performance complaints, I'd still say the Emma Original delivers incredible value for money.

We tested the comfort, firmness, pressure relief, and other aspects of this mattress by having each of our team members spend ten nights sleeping on this mattress, taking notes, and sharing their experiences with each other. Cover: Top cover made of special climate fibre to regulate temperature - plus, it's removable and machine washable! Again because of how new it is on the market, it has not got any awards but it is made by the same team that designed the Emma Hybrid mattress and the Emma Original mattress, which was UK’s most-awarded-mattress. The comfort and quality are worth the risk if you’re willing to take it, but you still get tremendous value with this mattress. Downside is the lifespan of the product may suffer as a result, only marginal, but worth mentioning.

With six layers of foam and springs it's breathable and comfortable with great pressure relief and motion isolation, although edge and corner support could be better. Both Emma Essential and Original offer good comfort and support, but there are some differences between them. Emma Original has excellent motion isolation, thanks to its combination of memory foam and pocket springs. As far as neck pain is concerned, we'd recommend switching to a more comfortable pillow, as a pillow is more likely to cause neck problems.I also tried the Emma Original with a mattress protector and the surface still felt fresh and cool despite the extra slightly padded layer. Cutouts have been cleverly added to the bottom foam layer to provide customised support for the different parts of your body. This cover goes beyond our standard version, bringing more softness and durability, while also providing hypoallergenic and breathable properties.
