Not blaming anyone for what happened to her, in my opinion, shows extremely strong character and loyalty, which is amazing considering what horrid things she went through. From Pripyat in Ukraine to Bodie in California to English villages requisitioned by the Ministry of Defence during World War II, from Greek leper colonies to deserted Italian mountain villages, Ghost Towns is a brilliant pictorial work examining lost worlds. I even laughed at some of the mischief she got up to through what I can only describe as a truly horrific life experience for any human to go through never mind a child.
