Our HYLO NIGHT ® eye ointment improves the tear film and protects the surface of the eye during the night. Has the addition of Vitamin A that has been shown to improve symptoms of blurred vision and tear film stability in dry eyes. A preservative-free eye ointment tube with light liquid paraffin and vitamin A, perfect for overnight use. As Hylo-night is ointment based it cannot be used with contact lenses, but it does provide long term relief for contact lens wearers i. Due to its smooth, gel-like texture HYLO NIGHT moisturises your eyes in an optimal way while you are asleep, keeping the eye lids smooth and crust free.

In addition, Hylo Night preservative free eye ointment can prevent any symptoms you may have when you first open your eyes in the morning. The tube is very small and you have to very carefully put a line of it in your eyes, it can be tricky at first, the texture is a bit like vaseline.If you suffer from any allergies, ask your doctor or our pharmacist if this medicine is right for you. It takes a couple of nights and does make your vision blurred initially so put it in just before going to sleep.This ointment is specially formulated to provide comfort during the night, promoting optimal eye health. Enriched with Vitamin A: Infused with Vitamin A, this ointment contributes to the overall health of your eyes, supporting their well-being. Patients with Dry Eye Disease (DED), especially those with severe DED who require dosing over 4 times daily with lubricants or who use ocular lubricants in conjunction with other chronic topical therapies such as glaucoma medications, should avoid the use of ocular lubricants containing preservative.
