About this deal

Enjoy the convenience of cooling and heating right out of the box! It’s the perfect air conditioner for any compact space. ... EcoFlow WAVE 2 the ultimate air conditioner and heater that comes with a swappable battery (sold separately). Charge it fast with AC, solar, a car, or power stations. Enjoy cool or warm air anytime, anywhere, with the flexibility of multiple charging options. This makes it perfect for individuals who are always on the move and require a reliable source of cool air that is powered by renewable energy. The Wave has a sound rating of less than 55dB, but it gets quite loud in a small space, especially when the fans are spinning at maximum speed. I found Eco mode even more annoying because the compressor and fans constantly turn on and off. Through the EcoFlow smartphone app or the manual controls on the AC unit, you can customise the various modes and set the desired runtimes to fit your needs. Its predecessor only reduced the temperature by 11°F (6°C) in about eight minutes, meaning the WAVE 2 Portable AC delivers cooler results in a fraction of the time. Heating and Cooling

A temperature dial with the current readings sits in the middle of the screen. The larger reading is the current room temperature and the smaller one is the set temperature. You can use the dial or the up and down arrows to change the set temperature, as well as a slider to control the fan speed. At the bottom of the screen are mode buttons for Fan, Cool, and Eco modes. To access the Wave’s settings menu, tap the gear icon in the upper right corner. Here, you can rename the device, turn on the Automatic Drain feature, set a screen timeout that dims the onboard LCD, update the firmware, and view FAQs. To configure Wi-Fi settings, tap the Wi-Fi button in the upper left corner of the main screen. The WAVE2 Portable AC lasts up to eight hours with Eco Mode. Say goodbye to sleepless nights in a stuffy, overheated tent or bedroom! Either way, we found the energy draw to be quite similar to that of the AC cooling mode. It begins slow but soon ramps up to 300-350 watts. In max mode, once operating for an hour or more, we found it to draw a steady 325 watts at a maximum fan speed. Operating it in eco or night mode will lower this by about 80-100 watts, resulting in a draw of 200-260 watts. Fan Mode In heating mode, the EcoFlow Wave 2 draws a maximum of 600W (540W on battery), which is a heating capacity of 6100BTU. Again, that’s good for smaller rooms; if you’ve got a very cold space or larger room, you may want to look at one of our best electric heaters instead. I found that on maximum heating mode, the Wave 2 topped out just shy of 400W. Highly compact at 20.4” × 11.7” × 13.2” (518 × 297 × 336 mm), you can take WAVE 2 anywhere — from road trips to camping adventures, without sacrificing valuable space in your motorhome, car, or your living room. 27% More PowerfulThe Wave comes with airflow shrouds and hoses for directing hot and cold air. When you use the Wave indoors, you have to vent the hot air out through a window as you do with portable ACs. One potential problem is that the Wave has a low profile and the included duct hoses can only extend to around 36 inches in length. That’s too short for venting through a standard window unless you can perch the unit on an appropriately close surface. Outdoors, the air ducts aren't really necessary. But you can use the cold air shroud and duct hose to pump cool air directly into a tent or RV while the unit sits outside, or bring the unit inside and use the hot air duct to direct hot air outside. With EcoFlow’s advanced software algorithm, the WAVE 2 offers multiple modes and app control. It runs quietly (44 dB) in Sleep Mode and up to 8 hours in Eco Mode. This means that the air conditioner can be used at any time of the day or night without causing any disturbance. Experience longer-lasting comfort in your tent, RV, or home with its powerful and portable design. Is the EcoFlow WAVE 2 Eco-Friendly? While testing the heating mode, it provided noticeable results in our camper van. During a 45 degree night, we set it to 72 degrees and were pleased to find that it thoroughly provided heat for the entire area without any qualms. Actual Energy Use in Heating Mode (~300 to 350 watts max)

Taking the extreme, I let the sun heat up my office during the day, hitting a peak of 37°C. When the sun was no longer shining in, I put the Wave 2 on max, which dropped the temperature to 29°C in just shy of three hours – that’s an extreme test. When operated on EcoMode, the WAVE 2 Portable AC runs at a quiet 44dB. An 8-hour runtime on Eco Mode provides reliable, lasting cooling that doesn’t require constant recharging — keeping you cool through the night without disturbing your sleep. How Does WAVE 2 Improve on the Previous Model? If you’re concerned about sustainability — and who isn’t? — WAVE 2 uses R290 as its refrigerant. Unlike traditional coolants used in ACs and refrigerators — like freonand other CFCs— R290 is a natural, clean, and green refrigerant with less global warming potential and no ozone emissions. You’re doing your bit to reduce your carbon footprint by choosing an AC that uses eco-friendly coolants.Keeping cool in the summer heat is a real task. If you’re someone who spends time traveling in the great outdoors, you’re no stranger to this. Whether you’re spending time in a tent, RV, van or tiny house, you probably already know how luxurious air conditioning can be. It’s also an excellent choice for motorhome owners and campers who want an HVAC option for their adventures that’s equipped to keep up with an on-the-go lifestyle. Using this battery is neater, as it clips into the bottom and becomes fully integrated. However, if you have a compatible power station, such as the Delta 2, you can buy a cable that links the two together, reusing your existing battery. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth radios help the Wave connect to its mobile companion app. Just note that the appliance doesn’t support Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands. It also doesn't work with the Apple HomeKit platform, IFTTT applets, or any third-party integrations.
