M-audio has just launched a software update that further enhances the capabilities of its controllers. Version 2.1.1 for the Oxygen Pro 61 adds a lot of new features, including: A well-built, well-designed keyboard that’s great with Ableton Live, but handy for hardware control too. Your transport controls, faders, knobs, and DAW shortcuts will now have messages mapped for MPC Beats. The AIR team has released standalone software versions of the Hybrid, Mini Grand, and Velvet plugins. These apps will install on your computer when you run the plugin installers from the M-Audio Software Manager. These standalone programs are great to play with if you're not looking to use a DAW and just want to plug in the Oxygen Pro and make some noise!

Note: Keep in mind that this code will license Hybrid, Mini Grand, and Velvet so you only need to redeem it once in iLok to authorize all of your AIR plugins.

You will also find 9 assignable faders on the M-Audio Oxygen Pro 61 to control your virtual instruments, effect plugins, DAW faders and more. Acting as the flagship model in the M-Audio Oxygen Pro range, the Oxygen Pro 61 features 61 semi-weighted keys, 9 assignable faders and 8 assignable knobs to give you excellent control over any project or performance. The authorization code for your AIR plugins will be located in your M-Audio account under the My Products section. Sign in to your M-audio account at M-audio.com.

Use the Encoder and select Mac if you are using a macOS or Win if you are using a Windows OS. Note: This setting is not available on the Oxygen Pro Mini, so this step can be ignored. When Master is enabled, MIDI data from this port will always go to the currently selected program in your project. Using the Encoder directly below the OLED screen, scroll to PC, and then press the Encoder to enter into selecting your OS. Now that you have installed the included sound content, let's connect the Oxygen Pro and launch MPC Beats! Note Repeat allows you to hold down any of the custom-made M-Audio performance pads and you’ll hear a repeated rhythmic pattern at a selectable note division. The Note Repeat feature can be activated momentarily or can be used in Latch mode. If you choose Momentary, holding the Note Repeat button will make the note played by the pad automatically repeat. If you choose Latch, pressing any pad will cause its assigned note to repeat without you having to hold down the Note Repeat button.

The MPC Beats Installer will automatically open. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the installation
