About this deal

What:All friendly fighters within 3″ from the reacting one are considered in cover for the rest of the round. One further trait that greatly characterises this warband is the fact that all except one have at least 2″ range weapons, meaning they can hit from a safe distance and force the opponent to get closer, that is great for a warband with a low average of wounds. Abilities for the Gloomspite Gitz Warband The Bad Moon starts in the corner of the battlefield and then starting in the second battle round it moves randomly around the table depending on the roll of a dice. This then determines where on the battlefield its light effects.

The Shoota is the ranged version of the basic grot and one of the two ranged options in this warband barring a couple of leaders. Squigboss: The Squigboss is just too difficult to use properly. His buff range is only 3″ and he has to use it in the Hero phase so you don’t have a chance to move him into position if your army has gone on ahead. His standard buffs are also totally in conflict with his other main ability which is a once per game free move for Squig Herds wholly within 12″. To add even more frustration, this free move must be done at the start of the Hero phase, meaning you have to leave a line of squigs between him and the rest of their unit to get the second buff after they make that move. He’s also as squishy as the Madcap Shaman and 30 points more which is dire. He’ll need to be close to the frontline to hand out his buffs. I’ve used this guy possibly more than any other of these heroes and he just can’t keep up with the herd well enough to do his thing. A personal favorite of a lot of Age of Sigmar players are the cuddly lovable Squigs. (I imagine it is only a matter of time until we get Squig plushies) A very popular model in the world that was, and a surprise army in Age of Sigmar 2017 3rd heat ( see here), they are even more deadly and fun to play in the new Gloomspite Gitz army. Introduced in the new season of Warcry, Reactions are things that can be done in certain circumstances, but always during the enemy turn. They cost one action, so they can be used only by fighters that have not activated yet or are waiting. There are 3 universal reactions and one specific to each warband: Troggoths regeneration ability you can re-roll the dice if the first roll is unsuccessful, or if the first roll is successful double the wounds healed.Giant Cave Squigs are especially huge and ferocious beasts that make excellent steeds for the more daring grot Loonbosses. They hurtle into battle like rubbery meteors – all fangs, prodding spikes and shrieked war cries. If you have a Gloomspite warband chances are you already have an Age of Sigmar army and there are few suggestions in the battletome on how to paint the miniatures. Despite so, 3 damage on a critical hit still represents a good threat and most units will struggle to reach them if they keep distance. Scuttletide: Seems good. I only painted it to go with a Spider Grot list I hope to make someday but I could see it being useful for any Gitz. The Gobbapalooza introduce situational buffs but there is a limit on how many abilities you can use per turn. If you are really like an ability, then you can use one of them for support.

Speed of the Spider God (Double, Webspinner Shaman): +1 Move for Spider Riders and Scuttleboss within range. Today with the contrast paints you have few really good options to speed paint your models, the video below shows how to paint a Boingrot Bounderz and the same techniques can be used across the entire model range. Fungoid Cave-Shaman - Gobbapalooza ( Boggleye - Brewgit - Scaremonger - Shroomancer - Spiker) - Grot Fanatic ( Loonsmasha Fanatic - Sporesplatta Fanatic) - Loonboss - Madcap Shaman - Rabble-Rowza - Shoota - Sneaky Snuffler - Squigboss - Squig Hopper ( Boingrot Bounder) - Squig ( Colossal Squig - Giant Cave Squig - Mangler Squig - Squig Gobba - Squig Herd) - Stabba Spider Bite (Triple, all Spider Riders and Scuttleboss): A chance to damage an engaged enemy up to 18 damage. Add 1 to casting rolls for Gloomspite Gitz Wizards, and subtract 1 from all others. You receive 1 extra command point if your general is in the light. Squigs can run and charge. We’re all about squigs and magic for these army lists. That gives us lots of randomness and damage output but does make the army a little bit of a glass cannon. All Endless Spells seem like such a gamble. They can have a huge impact on the game but you might just fail to cast them or get them unbound before they can be much help. This is a fun army to play as there is so much randomness to it. You really can’t control the movement of a lot of your units so when planning out your move think about what the average will be and go from there. Your heavy hitter is your general, so you want to have him dish out as much damage as possible before you opponent takes him down. It’s not a bad idea to cast mystic shield or your madcaps unique spell on him to make him a little more survivable as well. Also, one big weakness is the bravery of your units so be sure to save a command point or to, in case you need to use inspiring presence. A Sneaky Skrap or warband can be formed also by a particular sub-specie of grot that dwells in the deepest forests and learned to tame or appease gigantic spiders for protection or even to be used as mounts. The Loonboss is the military commander of the Moonclan Grots and as such he is an essential leader even of a Sneaky Skrap.
