About this deal

We need to give Jesus access to the dead areas of our hearts, our relationships and life’s dreams. Let Jesus speak life to those spiritually dead areas of your heart and life. Allow the Holy Spirit to call out those areas that you may not even be aware of; the joy and happiness that you once had that may have died can be resurrected. The hurt, pain and suffering caused by sin can be healed in Jesus’ name.

Where is God in the Midst of Tragedy? - See the Help God Offers Where is God in the Midst of Tragedy? - See the Help God Offers

You must have heard people complain, ‘What have I done wrong? Why is God giving me so much of pain and suffering?’ This is because they are of the belief that ‘God is the creator of this world and He is the one who runs the world. Nothing in this world happens without His wish, and therefore directly or indirectly He is the one behind all my miseries.’ Jesus asked for the stone to be moved. Martha was concerned that the tomb was going to be opened; the stench of death would fill the air. Yet Jesus said to remove the stone. It’s only after the stone was removed that Jesus called out Lazarus’ name and Lazarus, by the power of God, walked out of the tomb alive. If Jesus had returned sooner, Lazarus might not have died, but Martha, Mary and the crowd never would see the resurrection power of God. Others in the crowd might not have believed Jesus to be the son of God. When Adam sinned, he became lost with reference to God. All Adam’s descendents are born in that condition: lost. Before you can be reconciled to God, you’ve got to answer for yourself the question God asked Adam: Where are you? The answer is, “God, I’m lost.” Before God can save you, you’ve got to admit to Him that you are lost.

Look at Genesis 3:9 and listen for the tenderness, the compassion and the concern in this question that God asks of His children. In this three-word question there is a three-fold proof of God’’s love. First, He proves His love to us in that He dealt with Adam’s sin –- He did not overlook it or condone it. How could He? Again, His love is proved in that He at once promised to send a Saviour; that promise is contained in Genesis 3:15 (KJV) where we read of the “seed of the woman”, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Redeemer –- look up Galatians 4:4-6. God also proved His love by asking this question in the immediate provision that He made for the nakedness of His children –- Genesis 3:21 tells us about this. In the midst of a loved one’s death, Jesus was told, “if you had been here [a tragedy would have been avoided]”. God has a plan and purpose that is far beyond what we know. God is still working even if you do not see him working. God knows what he’s doing. You won’t go through anything alone. He cares for you. Allow the miracle of resurrection hope in Christ to free you. There is no neutral ground, as Jesus made perfectly clear (Matthew 12:30). We are either on the side of Christ or on the side of His enemies. Which is true of you? It is dreadful to be consciously and deliberately lined up with the enemies of Christ. If that is true of you, are you content to let it remain true? And this has been true for hundreds of years for those who believe in God & follow Jesus. So we can read the words of those who have come before us who where dedicated followers of Jesus who wondered, “Where is God when I pray?” The Dark NightGod questioned the man and the woman because He wanted to lead them to repentance; but He did not question the serpent because there was no mercy for him. God cursed the serpent. The curse is directed both to the actual snake and to Satan who used the snake for his evil deeds. Verse 14 applies mostly to the snake as an animal; verse 15 applies mostly to Satan. In a future study we’ll see how God provided animal skins to clothe Adam and Eve, a picture of atonement. But for now I must limit myself to verses 14 & 15, which show us two ways God graciously offers reconciliation to guilty sinners. A. God graciously offers reconciliation by defeating our adversary, the devil. Ever wondered, “God, where are you?” This message helps us understand that the power of God is revealed in our difficult situations. It is the “in-between times” when faith grows, and God brings life to the dead. Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 39 “Take away the stone,” he said. “But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.” My boiling emotions tell me that God doesn’t care … that He is nowhere to be found … that He is far, far away.

God! Where Are You?!” - Carol McLeod Ministries “God! Where Are You?!” - Carol McLeod Ministries

When God does not feel near yet we remain near in prayer, remain in waiting, remain in worship, we declare to God that our hope is in Him, in His timing, in His will. We proclaim that God sees what we cannot see. That God knows what we cannot know. That our hope is in an eternal God who is with us & for us. That there is a God & that I am not Him! Naturally, we cry from the depths of our souls..."But God, how could You let something of this magnitude happen?" Dada Bhagwan Foundation, Adalaj is a spiritual non-profit organization whose goal is to spread peace, harmony and everlasting bliss to the whole world through the spiritual science of Akram Vignan. Right from childhood, we are taught that God is kind, He is all-forgiving and He loves us immensely; God is Almighty, He is always there to protect us and He is our saviour.Of course people don’t just blame other people. They also blame their circumstances, which is really to blame God, who ordains our circumstances. Adam is implicitly blaming God when he says, “The woman whom You gave to be with me ...” (3:12). “If You hadn’t given her to me, God, I wouldn’t be in this mess. It’s Your fault.” The sinner’s guilt is seen in himself and in his relationship with others. Jesus Christ told His followers these comforting words: "Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore do not fear; you are of more value than many sparrows." 7 If you truly turn to God, He will care for you as no one else does, and in a way that no one else can. God and Our Free Will
