About this deal

The traditional Chaplains' role of other Chapters is fulfilled by Iron Fathers, specially trained Techmarines who serve to protect the faith of their brethren. [10] Iron Fathers also sit on the Iron Council of the Chapter. [19a] Terminators and Veteran Sergeants Clans in the Iron Hands are more than simple companies, they are each distinct not only culturally but also in how they wage war and view their service to the Emperor: Clan Garrsak for instance values collective unity while Clan Vurgaan hordes captured enemy weaponry. [37b] [37c] The Iron Hands rarely commit to a campaign unless overwhelming victory is all but guaranteed. To that end, they employ Adeptus Mechanicus Tech-Priests known as the Magi Calculi whose job it is to analyze data and ascribe to it strategic worth and likelihood of victory. However the Iron Council can overrule the decisions of the Magi Calculi, as seen when Kardan Stronos disregarded their conclusions and joined Roboute Guilliman's Indomitus Crusade anyway. [63c] Gene-seed The Iron Hands are infamous for their extensive use of bionics, which has helped bring them into a close relationship with the Adeptus Mechanicus. [9a] After the Horus Heresy, when the Legions were reorganized into Chapters, the Iron Hands became recluses, attempting to find ways to make themselves even stronger so that they would be fit for serving under Ferrus Manus again at the end of times. Many within the Chapter consider flesh to be a sign of weakness, and seek to expunge it from themselves through mechanical enhancement. [63b] To this end, they have made it a practice to make extensive use of bionic modifications, going so far that there are rumours of some battle brothers being wholly mechanical. Iron Hands consider the greatest honour they can receive is to be interred in Dreadnought armour. [9a] It is in the so-called Blessing of Iron ritual that the Iron Hands replace parts of their bodies with Bionics. [Needs Citation] The Armour of the Word– 2+ armour save , 4+ invulnerable save (3+ against Witchfire and Force weapons)

Iron Hands Chapter Colour Scheme as displayed by Primaris Marine Skorrlok, a Hellblaster belonging to the 9th Squad of Clan Company Raukaan. His tactical role is fire support, as displayed by the chevron on his left knee plate. The unique identity of the Iron Hands is forged by their belief that all flesh is inherently weak, for it is subject to mortification, decay and temptation and is thus a weakness that must ultimately be purged if the Chapter's Astartes are to best serve the Emperor. This is a belief most probably rooted in the traumatic experiences of the Horus Heresy, but the inherent character of the people of the Chapter's homeworld of Medusa, with their stoicism and patient forbearance, also plays a part. Following the apparent death of their primarch at Isstvan V, the surviving members of the Legion returned to their homeworld and fanned the coals of hatred that would endure across the millennia. The C'tan Phase Weapons used by the Imperium's Callidus Assassins are also made of necrodermis. These weapons were adapted from the remains of Necron technology discovered to lie buried dormant under Mars by the Adeptus Mechanicus many millennia ago.Necrodermis is the xenos material created over sixty million standard years ago by the Necrontyr species that is often described as "living metal." It was originally used by the Necrontyr to construct their massive sub-light starships that explored and settled the Milky Way Galaxy millions of standard years ago. When the primarch of the X th Legion was discovered during the early years of the Great Crusade, he was among the first of the Emperor's lost sons to be found, and, like Horus Lupercal and Leman Russ before him, had risen to become a warlord in his own right on the world on which he had been cast. Shadrak Meduson - Clan Sorrgol Clan Commander, Captain during the Great Crusade and warleader during the Horus Heresy era. [31]

Sam: “ Corax was a challenge to sculpt, mainly due to the Panoply of the Raven Lord, which includes two archeotech pistols, an energised whip, and artificer lightning claws. It was difficult to come up with a believable pose that integrated all of these elements, and worked with the Korvidine Pinions. His Sable Armour is based on Mk IV armour with details taken from Raven Guard artwork in the Forge World Horus Heresy books.” Leman Russ, Primarch of the Space Wolves Iron Hands Chapter Colour Scheme as displayed by Primaris Marine Vangaar, an Intercessor. The icon on his right pauldron shows that he belongs to Clan Borrgos, while the Low Gothic numeral on his right knee plate shows that he is part of 2nd Squad.c. M41: The False Saint] — Elements of the Third Company lead the assault on the stronghold of the False Saint, the daemon-possessed body of Saint Drusus, on the storm-riddled dead world of Grangold in the Calixis Sector. Though wiped out in battle with the daemonic forces of Tzeentch, their actions allows elements of the Imperial Guard, led by agents of the Inquisition, to banish the False Saint and close the Warp portal the daemon was opening. [16] The Draken Scale– 2+ armour save , 3+ invulnerable save , halves the strength of any flamer , fusion , volkite, melta, or plasma weaponry used against him. Forgebreaker began as a project by Fulgrim to build the perfect weapon for his brother while the Gorgon did the same. In the end, when Fulgrim and Manus had finished their respective weapons, neither could agree on which was the best with the Phoenix claiming that Ferrus' Fireblade was the best and the Gorgon claiming that Fulgrim's Forgebreaker was, in fact, the greatest. In the end, they each gifted their weapon to each other, with Fulgrim receiving Fireblade and Ferrus receiving Forgebreaker, the start of a bond of brotherhood closer than any other two primarchs that lasted until the outbreak of the Horus Heresy.
